“LOVE IS” REALLY DOES LIFT YOU!

“Love Lifted me, Love Lifted me, when nothing else would do, Love

Lifted me!” It is amazing when trying to talk about love or write about love,

I generally find myself looking outside of myself. You may have heard the

lyrics, “looking for love in all the wrong places;” places like relationships,

activities, things in the external. When I was asked to write about love, I

poured through books, papers, writings. It was not until I stopped and

turned within and heard the ‘Still Small Voice,’ God speaking to me. ”You

know all you need to know…my Child you are Love. I created you in LOVE

to be LOVE. Remember, it is one of my attributes; it’s Your Spiritual

identity!” I believe I can say I have finally discovered the right concept of

the LOVE for me. God is a presence, a feeling in me; and it teaches me to

love myself, to turn within and lift myself to a conscious awareness that I

am issued from God! All I need to do is release my inner LOVE LIGHT and

declare Love is my reality! I Love that when nothing else will do, God

Loves me fully within, so that I can Express my Love, whole, perfect and

completely, as God’s beloved Child!! Therefore, I now commit to

maintaining an elevated consciousness of LOVE.

My-Be-Attitude Affirmation: “Blessed is my pure heart of (LOVE); so

that I can see God in everybody and everything!

I am a member of the Empowerment Center for Better Living, where the Rev.

Roderick Norton is the Minister and Spiritual Director, where I am a member of

the Leadership Team. In addition, I attend the Empowerment Center for Better

Living where I serve in the ministry as coordinator for the Writer’s Group, I work

with a talented team of writers who write Monthly Affirmations that ECBL publishes.

In addition, I am the Service Coordinator – collaborating with

the Spiritual Director on planning Bible Study and Power Talks services, platform

chairperson, and other projects as assigned! I am taking classes in the College of

Spiritual Studies in the ministerial program.

As a long-timeand Truth Student, I love learning, being teachable, studying, praying

meditating and standing on the word of God…” I and my Father are one!!”
