God’s Will For You is Absolute Good

“Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us… -- Ephesians 3:20-21S

God wants for you the highest and best part of Itself; Absolute Good. As we travel on this journey called life sometimes it feels like everything and everyone is against us. No matter what steps we take we run into an obstacle. No matter how much we pray nothing seems to change. No matter how many affirmations and denials we recite, things remain the same. It is during these times that we must hold on to the belief that God wants the highest and best for us; absolute good. Hold on, don’t stop reading. Hear me out.

Sometimes we get it confused. We think that living life as a (Fill in the Blank) is supposed to be all sunshine and rainbows. As a woman, I shouldn’t have to deal with this. As a Christian, I shouldn’t have to deal with this. As a metaphysician, I shouldn’t have to deal with this. The list goes on and on. I know a few affirmations and how do a Sun Salutation so my life should flow with ease. No, my friend. That’s not how life works. As my peer and fellow YouTuber, Rochelle Adamson says, “Life Be Lifing” Sometimes it’s lifing harder than we’ve ever known. Sometimes it’s the back-to-back loss of friends, family members, relationships, coworkers, pets, a job or career, your health, etc. What do we do during those times? We remember. We are remembering to trust the process. We are remembering to release what we think the outcome should be. We are remembering to allow God to be God.

God’s will Is not that you never experience a storm. God’s will is that you are equipped for the storm when it comes. Here are some items to consider for your storm equipment list:

· Prayer · Meditation · Affirmations · Denials · Journal (Physical or Digital) · Sacred Text (Your Choice) · Daily Devotional (i.e. Daily Inspiration for Better Living, The Daily Word, Messages From The Hill, etc.) · A Community of Faith · Prayer Partner(s) · Nature (Park, Forest, Beach, Pond) ________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________ _________________________________________________________________________

Items on your equipment list are for use before, during, and after any storm. There is no time limit for use, they do not expire, and they are always available to you. Add or delete from your list the items as needed.

Remember to align your will with God’s will. Make it a GOLDen Day!
